Winter CSA's

Well, the snow has finally fallen; making our winter CSA programs seem a little more accurately named. 

So far our customers have been super-supportive and knowing this, our first year, sets our baselines for expectation both from ourselves and the people we have developed relationships with I'd say we are off to a great start... End... Well, you know.

Now that we have all our meat back from the abattoir I have packaged the protein CSA and separated it from our retail cuts in its own freezer where customers can pick-up freely. Erin has been working in the last of the garden, covering the winter crops and filling the root cellar with stores for the winter vegetable CSA. We have topped-up our storefront at the Two Rivers Food Hub in Smiths Falls with veggies for the folks who like to shop online, or who are out of our catchment for CSA deliveries and I am very proud to say that we have filled all our subscriptions for both CSA's, Yayy!

Now all that remains is snuggling into the books this winter and planning for the coming year. I would like to add a thank you to everyone who has come out to chat with us and get to know who we are as people and farmers this year. Your support is paramount in building this business, so thank you from Erin and myself.

We also have one more market in Perth: November 29, 2017 is the Christmas market; held at the crystal palace. Come on out and get your last crack at some great local food and crafts.
